Instagram vs Reality 👀 Creating my own volume in my living room!
Step 1: Come up with Scifi concept.
Step 2: Find appropriate background on TV.
Step 3: Shoot scifi hubby in dark room in front of TV. Use a tablet as a prop to add foreground and practical light element.
Step 4: Edit.
Fun experiment! Tried different ways to interact with the background and some were more successful than others. Wish I had a bigger TV!🤣 Maybe using a projector next time would help? Trying to keep my portrait game fresh! “I was a bit intimidated by the whole concept of getting “professional headshots”, but my wife and I needed to get them done, so we were recommended Diana by others (and her portfolio spoke for itself). When I arrived, Diana was so welcoming and very down-to-earth. She let me choose the playlist and honestly the time flew by because we were having fun. She was great with her lighting expressions, and did some cool “different looks” with some modifications to colors and styles. I’ve only shared these pictures recently, and I’ve already gotten several compliments on how great they look. All in all, would highly recommend Diana if you need some awesome headshots or some other fun lifestyle-shots that you’ll get a lot of mileage out of!”
